Job Description

Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi (Night Shift: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM)
Salary: 80,000 to 100,000 PKR

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the finance department in day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, compliance with regulatory standards, and the smooth execution of financial processes. The Finance Officer will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain financial records and reports, process payments, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate general ledger entries.
  • Support in financial reporting and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and assist with audits and financial reviews.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and resolve audit-related inquiries.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal financial control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel (experience with advanced formulas and functions preferred).
  • Good understanding of financial regulations, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certifications like ACCA or ICMA are an advantage but not required.
