Job Description
Objective: We are seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD Designer for our clients manufacturing team in Japan. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AutoCAD and other design software, with a focus on creating detailed engineering drawings and supporting manufacturing projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed 3D AutoCAD drawings for manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to create accurate designs, layouts, and schematics.
- Ensure design compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and manufacturing needs.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of materials (BOMs) and other technical documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design improvements.
- Support the implementation of design changes throughout the production process.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and software advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (4-year degree required).
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in AutoCAD design, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D) and other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Japanese Language Requirement:
Candidates with N4 or N5 level Japanese proficiency will be prioritized and directly shortlisted, while non-Japanese speakers are also encouraged to apply if they are willing to learn. A comprehensive platform will be provided to support candidates in acquiring Japanese language skills.
