Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Logistics to support our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating the movement of materials and products, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely delivery. This role is crucial to maintaining efficiency and reliability in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain activities
• Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials
• Analyze logistics performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
• Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies and processes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in training and supervising logistics staff
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the energy sector
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary Range: Attractive salary based on experience (140k to 150k)
