Job Description
The Video Editor is responsible for creating and editing high-quality video content for use in
websites and social media posts, webinars and other corporate events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing
principles and techniques, as well as experience working with a variety of video editing
software.
Responsibilities:
● Edit video footage to create engaging and visually appealing content for the company’s
website and social media channels.
● Work with marketing team to develop concepts and ideas for video content.
● Collaborate with other enterprise leaders to develop video plans and campaigns for
implementation.
● Stay up-to-date on the latest video editing trends and techniques.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,
or DaVinci Resolve. This includes understanding the interface, tools, and
workflows within the chosen software.
Technical Skills:
● Cutting and splicing: Joining and trimming video clips to create a smooth and coherent
flow.
● Color correction and grading: Adjusting the color and tone of the footage to achieve a
specific look or mood.
● Audio editing: Mixing and mastering audio tracks, including dialogue, sound effects,
and music.
● Special effects and motion graphics: Adding visual effects, animations, and text
overlays to enhance the video.
● Exporting and rendering: Preparing the final video for various platforms and formats.
Creative Skills:
● Storytelling: Understanding the narrative structure and pacing to create a compelling
story.
●Visual composition: Arranging shots and elements within the frame to create visually
appealing compositions.
● Timing and rhythm: Controlling the pace and flow of the video to maintain viewer
engagement.
● Creativity and innovation: Experimenting with different techniques and styles to create
unique and original content.
● Problem-solving: Troubleshooting technical issues and finding creative solutions to
challenges.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, or a related field
● 3+ years of experience in video editing
● Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques
● Experience working with a variety of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro
and Final Cut Pro
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Creative and innovative mindset
● Prefer someone who has experience for industrial or reachout.
Salary Range: 100k – 150k
Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 4
Office Timings: 6:30 pm – 3:30 am (Night Shift)
